The originator of the West Coast version of the House of Styles, Onyx was also one of the original Dream Girls in California.  Having acheived such great success as an entertainer in San Diego, she moved to Texas for new opportunities.  After several years there, Dallas has proven to be a good fit for her.

 

Satin Styles - (Mother) 

   06/27/75 - 09/29/04

 

      A 12 year veteran, Satin had become a nationally recognized talent and personality.   Her energy, and presence on stage was rarely matched.  Satin always seemed to amaze her audiences with her live singing, as well as lip-syncing, dancing, and grand wardrobe.   For several years, Satin had been a command performer for Imperial Court chapters throughout the country.  California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois are a few of the states she had appeared in.  Her memory and legacy lives on.

 

Gigi Masters - (Aunt)

 

      A well known entertainer throughout California, Gigi was one of the original Lips girls in San Diego when the restaurant opened.  Along with Satin, she helped to create the ever popular gospel brunch.  Gigi has also been involved with The Imperial Court de San Diego for some time as well as a big supporter of the Gay Youth Center.  After taking a short break from making appearances, she is once again in high demand throughout San Diego and Southern California.

Regina Styles - (Sister)

 

      The oldest of Satin's daughters, Regina got her start several years ago at the age of 16 doing youth shows.  Regina has become much more visible in the San Diego and Southern California scene the past couple of years.  Also a member of The Imperial Court de San Diego, Regina is someone they can always count on to help out when situations arise.  Being the hostess/emcee of the extremely popular San Diego Drag Kings Club keeps her in the spotlight, although, it has created an inside joke that she is the "lesbian" of the family.

 

 

 

Lexi Styles - (Sister)

 

      Lexi performs and competes in somewhat of an "on again off again" rotation, as her real jobs allows.  As time goes on, and if the desire is there, she will no doubt add a few titles and crowns to her mantle.  Over the past year or so, she has also become quite involved in helping out the Imperial Court de San Diego when time permits.

 

 

 

 

   The transition from "civilian" to female illusionist was made easier due to my 10 years of theatre experience.  Although the beginning of my career in San Diego was not planned, it  turned out to be a very positive experience for me.  I am extremely fortunate to be able to stay in touch with many of the friends I made there, and am truly blessed with all of the good friends I have made across the country.  Coming up on my 6th year of entertaining, I am excited about continuing to learn and grow!

 

 

Collin Styles - (Son)

 

      It has been over two years since Collin became a part of the family, and in that time he has managed to win several titles!  His run at the state title for Wisconsin was very respectable for his first attempt.  A year of growing had proved him well, as he represented the state of Georgia at the national pageant in August of 2005!  Since then he has captured more titles, and the hearts of audiences across the midwest, and in the South as well.  Mama is very proud of him!!
